Block 2

I realize that this block makes the quilt look like it will be patriotic, I don't plan on using too much red, so hopefully, the red will just remind us of the dark side.

I tried to take a close up so you could see the white on white stars. They are pretty subtle.
I made all the setting squares last week. I really like the way they turned out-will post pics later. I am trying to decide on what sort of backing I want. I may just do the solid navy, it would make it cohesive, but I have a few leftover four patches from the setting squares I want to try and incorporate. And I need to get better at labeling my quilts, so I should plan on that ahead of time to increase chances of success.

Speedy! I actually did blocks 2 and 3 yesterday, but I haven't ironed them or taken pics of them yet. Maybe tomorrow I can post block 2. And I guess I need to get serious about the setting blocks.
